Ryerson Engineering students manually pushed a vintage Volkswagen Bug, through horrid weather mind you, around campus for 24 hours starting on Wednesday March 12. The annual tradition raises funds for The Hospital for Sick Children and is one of the highlights of National Engineering Month at Ryerson University. Students were invited to help the Ryerson Engineering Student Society conduct the event and help push the car. A great event for a great cause!
The event has raised a cumulative total of more than $20 000 in its twelve years and is actively looking for more donations. For more information and to make a donation, please check out this link. Until next time, keep it here at WhyRyerson!
