My Summer Recap: Exploring Toronto

This summer was a summer full of firsts for me! First full time job, first summer spent away from home, and the first real chance I got to explore the city! Summer in Toronto is fantastic, and I just wanted to share a quick recap of my summer in Toronto!

This summer, I worked for Ryerson’s Undergraduate Admissions as a tour guide! That experience alone was amazing! Being able to help so many of you guys discover Ryerson was one of my favourite parts of the summer!

Also, I loved being able to explore the city! My favourite areas that I explored were Queen West, The Distillery District as well as the St. Lawrence Market!

Queen West is one of my favourite ares in Toronto due to it’s super cool shops and restaurants! It’s the perfect area for a nice weekend stroll! There’s everything from vintage boutiques to cute cafés for you to explore!

The Distillery District is always one of my favourite spots in the city. It’s a great escape from all the hustle and bustle. The Distillery is an amazing space filled with art, food and fun!

The St. Lawrence Market is an amazing spot to spend your Saturday morning! I loved going to the market to pick up my freshly grown vegetables and see the different vendors from all over Ontario!

Overall exploring Toronto this summer was one of my highlights, and I want to keep exploring! So throughout this year, I’ll be exploring the city and sharing with you just how amazing Toronto is!
