I can’t believe I’m writing this. Two years has flown by so quickly, and my time at Ryerson and WhyRyerson has come to an end.
Thank you WhyRyerson readers for allowing me to share my transfer journey, and my time at Ryerson with you all. Moving to Toronto and transferring schools was the best decision of my life. I grew so much in the past two years, and can’t wait to see what life has in store for me next.
That leads to the question: what’s next for me? During this unprecedented time in our society, I’m okay with saying I’m not sure. When life rebounds back to normal I will be ready to start my career in marketing; in the meantime, I will never stop learning, and continue to gain skills that will be helpful to my career in the future.
To the whole communications team and to the other faces of WhyRyerson Ankita, Bren, Emma, Jenna, Jeremy and Mercedes, I will miss you all so much. Thank you for allowing me to create alongside all of you for the past year.
Before I go, I want to offer one last piece of advice: go for it. Taking the next step in my life by going to Ryerson changed my life for the better. Whatever that next step is for you, go for it. If you trust yourself there are no limits on where you will go.
Thank you, thank you, thank you WhyRyerson, I’ll miss you.
