4 Adventures you NEED to Have Around Ryerson

Even though Summer is coming to an end, that doesn’t mean there isn’t room to squeeze a few more adventures into your schedule. If you’re in the city for the Summer here are my top 5 places in and around the city that you NEED to go to before the summer is over.

High Park

High Park is a great escape from the downtown core! Just a quick subway ride away, this is the perfect day trip out of the city! Bring a picnic and explore this huge park! There are trails, playgrounds, a pool, gardens, A ZOO and a dog park! Everything you need for a quick adventure!

Trinity Bellwoods and West Queen West

Trinity Bellwoods is another great park on this list! But while you visit this amazing park, why not explore West Queen West? Queen West was named the second coolest neighbourhood in the world by Vogue! There’s tons of amazing shops, cafes and restaurants so you can definitely spend a day relaxing at the park and then exploring!

Biking along the Harbourfront

Biking along the Harbourfront is one of my personal favourites. If you don’t own a bike, you can rent one through Toronto BikeShare and then take it all along the new Queens Quay! There’s tons of bike paths, boardwalks and stops along the way so that you can spend a whole sunny day taking in the beauty that is the Toronto Waterfront.

The Bluffs

The Bluffs are also only a quick transit ride away and I guarantee that you will be in awe of them. The Scarborough Bluffs are located on Lake Ontario and along the bluffs there are many parks, beaches and trails for you to explore!
