Top 5: Holiday Movies to Watch!

Looking to take a break? Why not break out those Pillsbury Christmas cookies and invite your friends over for a holiday movie marathon! If you’re like me it’s officially socially acceptable to get in the holiday spirit. Check out my top five picks for holiday movies to watch while roasting chestnuts on an open fire.

Elf

Who doesn’t love Elf? This movie works for everyone ages 3-103, and will guarantee laughs from the holiday grinches in your life. However, if you’re like me it’s hard to keep in mind that not everyone wants to hear you recite every line.

Home Alone

All right, I’m specifically talking about the first and second instalments. We all know it wasn’t the same without Kevin McCallister (and realistically, who forgets their kid that many times anyways?). Relive your childhood fantasy of being home alone, and get into some trouble with this 90’s classic.

The Santa Clause

This one gives us a fresh new origin story for Santa and who can say no to Tim Allen? I never thought I’d say I wish Santa fell off my roof as a kid, but here we are!

Polar Express

Are you ready to be hit in the feels? Based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg, the Polar Express will make you believe in magic again with it’s heartwarming story for the whole family. If you’re a super fan you can now even take the Polar Express train in real life in different locations across North America!

A Very Murray Christmas

This Netflix special is perfect for a light hearted night in. Packed with famous celebs, follow the hilarious misfortunes of Bill Murray as he worries no one will show up to his TV show due to a terrible snowstorm in New York City.
