How To Pay Your Tuition Deposit

Congratulations from Ryerson Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment!

Now that you have been approved and have accepted your offer you will need to pay your tuition deposit in order to secure your spot in the program.

This year deposits are due by June 8.  You will also want to you make your payment well ahead of the due date, in order to ensure it is processed on time. This is largely applies to telephone and online banking payments.

We strongly encourage students to pay online to avoid having to come in-person. You can avoid the lengthy line-ups, and pay from the comfort of your own home!

Here’s how you can pay online or with telephone banking:

  1. Sign up with your bank for online or telephone banking
    2. Add Ryerson as a payee: Ryerson University – Tuition & Res Fees
    3. Your 9-digit student number is your account number
    4. Please allow3-5 business daysfor you payment to be applied
    5. You will only need to set this up once and can continue to pay your Ryerosn fees conveniently online

Eligible Financial Institutions

– Bank of Montreal
– National Bank
– President’s Choice Bank
– Royal Bank
– Scotiabank
– TC/Canada Trust

Other payment options are outlined on the Payment Methods page. With so many options you can avoid having to come to campus to make your payment!

Enrolment Services and Student Fees receives many phones calls and emails from students asking if their payment has been received and if they can get a receipt.  The easiest way for a student to check this is to login to your Applicant RAMSS account to see if your deposit has been made.  A negative amount is a credit balance and a good thing! Once you have been matriculated into your program in the first week of August, and set up with a student RAMSS account, you will be able to print off an account statement that lists your payments and charges for the term.  You will be issued an official tax receipt at the end of February for the previous tax year.

Be sure to visit the New Students page for your next steps over the summer. We look forward to seeing you in September!
