Hey guys! My name is Natalie and this year I’ll be showing you Ryerson through my eyes! Since I’ll be spending loads of time with you, I think I should introduce myself and all the different things I’m into! First, I am a third year Criminal Justice major here at Ryerson while minoring in Law. Although I don’t live on campus, there are always opportunities and events for everyone to enjoy at Ryerson regardless of where they live!
Entering into a big university and even bigger city to study was really intimidating at first, but after meeting some wonderful professors and making new friends I almost immediately felt at home! Coming out of my shell and joining new clubs targeted to my interests also helped to make my transition into University run smoothly (the only problem I had was choosing which clubs to join… so many options!!).
Here are some of the clubs I’m involved in:
– Criminal Justice Students Union
– The Law Centre
– The LBSA (Law and Business Student’s Association)
– And Ryerson’s Student Ambassador Team
I chose this university for the awesome opportunities that come along with studying in one of the greatest cities! I love fashion, meeting new people, skiing, snowboarding, animals, partying, learning and growing as a young professional, and travelling!
I hope you enjoy my journey through third year, and open up your eyes to all of the awesome things Ryerson has to offer! If you at any time ever have any questions, comments, concerns, or would like me to talk about a part of Ryerson you’re interested in, just give me a shout out in the comments below! I’m looking forward to meeting some of you guys on why.ryerson.ca or on campus!
