Did you miss the Ryerson Open House? Don’t panic! Although our open house is a great opportunity to meet our faculty, learn about our programs, and get acquainted with the campus, it’s not the only opportunity. We‘re happy to accommodate high school students looking to attend Ryerson all year round! Take a look below to find out how you can catch up on the things you might have missed out on at the event.
Although our campus tours wind down after November, there are still plenty of other ways to get a feel for our distinctly urban campus. Our virtual tour combines 360 degree photography with live narration to walk you through each building on campus from the comfort of your living room. We’ll also be running tours of the Ryerson Image Centre, Student Learning Centre, and DMZ well into December. And hey, why not just hop off at Dundas subway station and take a self-guided stroll down Gould Street? Our doors are open until the holiday break!
One of the best ways to learn about programs at Ryerson is through our RU Live presentations. These online and interactive sessions connect admissions representatives, faculty, and staff with prospective students. We have started a series of RU Lives showcasing many of our faculties, such as the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Communication and Design. If you can’t connect with us online for these sessions, we offer a comprehensive list of all programs accepting applications for the 2017/2018 year both on our website and in our Admissions Handbook.
Want to get a feel for what life is like for a Ryerson student? Well, you’re off to a good start already by reading the WhyRyerson blog! Our team of bloggers are predominantly current students, and they love sharing their experiences in Toronto. Our social media presence is student focused as well and stewarded by representatives happy to address your questions and concerns through Twitter and Facebook (during school hours, of course). Lastly, if you’d like to check out where you’ll be staying on campus, our next two residence tours are running on January 21 and February 11.
