Guess who’s back… back again.
Hey everyone! My name is Taylor, and I’m super excited to be back at WhyRyerson snapping/blogging/tweeting my way through this year. A little about me, I’m in my fourth and final year of Professional Communications (also known as ProCom), with minors in Public Relations and Marketing. As this is my final year I’m really trying to make the most of it by staying involved on campus while also getting ready to graduate and hopefully move on to my dream career. What that is, however, is yet to be determined.
This year I’m keeping busy with the Ryerson Communication & Design Society (RCDS) as well as the Ryerson Entertainment Conference (REC). I’ve been involved with plenty of other student groups on campus over the years, and truly believe they are essential to student life, so I’ll be highlight plenty of those throughout the year. You can find me anywhere from Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) to the Rogers Communications Centre (RCC) on any given day, and I’m so excited to bring you with me on my sometimes crazy schedule.
I also really like to eat food and travel. I’ve spent my past two summers backpacking in different parts of Asia (thanks to ASB Ryerson), and the rest of the time I’m in Toronto looking for new restaurants to try. I lived on residence in my first year, and couldn’t let go of the downtown life, so I spend my free time at home (10 minutes away from campus) with my two roommates and kitten Luna.
Anyways, I’m really excited to share and document my last year at Ryerson with all of you and show you all that our university has to offer. See you soon 🙂
For people who don’t want to read paragraphs about me here is a summary of the things you should ask me about:
Living in residence + living downtown
The Faculty of Communication & Design (FCAD)
The Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM)
Coffee near campus
Ryerson student groups
Intramural sports on campus (check out my volleyball team: No Dig’gity!!)
