Whether its tuition or books, being a student tends to burn a hole in my wallet so as I was searching for things to save on I came across many amazing discounts that Ryerson’s Student Union gives all us lucky members! Let me just put it this way: there’s something for everyone and some serious savings to enjoy.
Interested in sports? Save 30% off Raptors tickets! TTC Discounts? Yup! Wonderland, Cineplex discounts and oh so much more! As Ryerson student members we get the access to loads of discounts from school supplies to flight tickets! Many of these discounts are offered through the Ryerson Students’ Union.
My personal favourite has to be the ISIC card which is the only internationally recognized student I.D. This is my hidden key to accessing the world of discounts across the earth (literally). Whether it’s savings on a new laptop, or discounts on transportation all over Europe, this card has got you covered! If any of you love to travel as much as I do this card will save you money on museum attractions (Louvre, Versailles), accommodation, shopping, transportation (up to 50% off regular priced train tickets) and so much more. The card is free for RSU members and produced on the spot on the first floor of the Student Centre lobby (55 Gould St.) so check it out here. Other perks include: 25% off greyhound tickets in Canada, 15% off porter flights, exclusive deals with West Jet, and up to 80% off Microsoft products.
Believe me, saving a little bit here and there adds up to quite a lot of extra spending money during the school year.
And remember to check out Ryerson Students’ Union Member Service’s to pick up all your goodies and start accessing everything Ryerson has to offer!
