Sometimes we don’t always have time to make our lunches and bring them to school. Here are some great places to eat around campus for $6.
Easy $5 biriyani, daily specials for $4.99, what more could you ever ask for? On Dundas east of Church, Curry Kitchen is the cheapest and best Indian food in a 1KM radius.

The Hub always has a daily “RUfiver” which is a fantastic meal for $5 flat. Find it on the first floor of Jorgenson right beside the ServiceHub!
$6 can get you a lot of food at Sushi Style. Located on Dundas just east of Bond, this is my go-to place for fast, convenient Japanese food on a budget.

Tacos under $5 and a bag of chips & salsa for $2.30 makes Tacos 101 a great place to grab a bite between classes. It’s located right beside Curry Kitchen on Dundas. Their hottest salsa is actually mouth-burning, so watch out!
Oakham Cafe has a ton of things under $6 but the most notable is the “student loan special,” a whole breakfast for super cheap. Go in anytime before 11 a.m., and be ready to get fed with two eggs, homefries, toast, bacon (optional) and a slice of fruit. They have a ton of other great options for all your dietary needs and breakfast there is always affordable.
Good ole’ Pizza Pizza will always make an appearance. With a location at Church and Dundas as well as Yonge and Elm, Pizza Pizza’s legendary $5 walk-ins are the perfect study snack.
