Best Tacos in Toronto

I’ve started to think of myself as somewhat of a taco connoisseur, so for the benefit of you all I went out of my way to try some of the best tacos around Toronto. Here are five of the top Taco places you should visit when you’re downtown or are looking a snack on campus.

La Carnita

An easy go-to for any fellow taco lovers. With multiple locations for your convenience La Carnita offers delicious daily specials and fixed lunch menus that can’t be beat! I highly recommend trying the Pollo Frito ($4.75).

Tacos, beverages, one pair of sunglasses. You too could have it all on a Wednesday. Come see us immediately!

Maizal

Located west of campus Maizal is known for their great prices and making all their food in-house. The decor alone makes this place a great trip for your insta’s aesthetic but I promise their Taco Dorados won’t let you down.

Seven Lives

Seven Lives often has a line out the door of their petite Kensignton Market location. The Baja fish tacos ($5) made with fresh guacamole will have you willing to wait for your next round.

Tacos 101

Located right around the corner from Ryerson’s Engineering Building Tacos 101 is almost too convenient. All menu items are under $5 so they’re perfect for your school budget without sacrificing quality of your meal!

Wilbur Mexicana

Great food with an unbeatable self-serve salsa bar that you won’t want to leave. Fill your cup up to the brim with salsa or guacamole to add some spice to your tacos. Bonus: they’re vegetarian friendly as well!
