It’s a great time of year to be on the Ryerson campus. Students are finding cozy corners in the new Student Learning Centre to soak up a little sunshine as they study for final exams. Flowers and trees around campus are starting to bloom. And we’re hard at work reviewing applications just like yours! As you wait for a decision (or if you’ve already received an offer), read on for the three steps you must follow to reserve your spot, updates for study permits for international applicants, and an online event made just for you.
Undergraduate Admissions and Recruitment
When will I hear?
We are continuing to release offers throughout the month of April, and aim to make decisions for current Ontario Secondary School applicants before the end of May. The majority of decisions for all other applicants (i.e. OUAC 105 and Ryerson Application forms) who applied before the Guaranteed Consideration Date will be made by the end of June.
Keep watching your Choose>Ryerson applicant portal for the latest updates on your application. Good luck!
If you have received an Offer of Admission, congratulations! Read and save a copy of the offer letter posted in your Choose>Ryerson applicant portal, and take note of any conditions and applicable deadlines.
Visit Approved Students for Three Essential Steps you must follow to reserve your spot. These steps include confirming your offer, paying your tuition deposit between May 15th and June 8th, and meeting your admission conditions.
If you received a denial or cancellation letter, visit Non-Approved Students for possible reasons. Depending on the reason for your non-approval, you may be able to apply to another program or upgrade your marks to be more competitive for future applications.
If your application was cancelled as a result of English Proficiency, you may request reconsideration by completing the English Language Proficiency Test Reconsideration Form. This form can be found on English Language Requirements.
International Students with a conditional Offer of Admission may apply for a Study Permit. Remember to print your Offer of Admission and Letter of Acceptance for International Students (LAIS) from your Choose>Ryerson portal account. Details for Study Permit applications are available on the Government of Canada website. The Ryerson Designated Learning Institution number is O19395677651.
