The Ryerson community is constantly expanding, and it seems like there’s a student group for almost anything!
Check out these 4 new Ryerson student groups (created in 2015-2016) which I think are pretty awesome:
Say what?? Song writing? Advocacy? Teamwork? Wow!
Ryerson’s student network of Producers, DJ’s, Songwriters, Rappers and Artists. A hub of collaboration and creativity.
A group, created by first year Graphic Communications Management student Jeremy Pagé, dedicated to tea lovers across campus!
(Jeremy) plans to utilize his contacts in the industry to help him organize events and host guest speakers to facilitate the dialogue and culture surrounding the world’s second most popular drink.
Better known as “Photography at Ryerson”, this club aims to increase the skills of all levels of photographers on campus. So cool!
The Photography Club of Ryerson was ratified with official status as an RSU group with the rights in the Students Group Policy. The group has already held photo walks from the Ryerson Student Learning Centre to the Polson Pier to the Distillery District.
This group is pretty unique. They strive to provide students with the experience of holistic group freestyle meditation sessions right on campus.
Success without Stress promotes community building through freestyle meditation. The group was ratified as an official Ryerson Students’ Union group, and hopes to work with Ryerson’s Wellness Centre to organize future events and potential collaborations.
